Aheyme was bred primarily as a performance horse.  He carries the blood of some of the worlds greatest  Arabian performance horses.

Prince Rasheyd * (UK), his sire, is from a line of Arabian Race Horses and Endurance Horses, famed in England and Europe.

Alzana, his dam, carries the blood of Australia's revered champion endurance horse producer 'Shahzada*' with no less that 6 crosses through Darinth S1,  Judith  BF122 and Daralga F18.

Multi Supreme Champion at halter and under saddle at 'A' class shows.  Aheyme is the current holder of the Mark Grundy trophy for the Supreme Crabbet Related Exhibit which was presented at the Qld. Summer Show.

Aheyme is a prepotent stallion, his progeny are unmistakably similar in type.  All of his shown progeny are champions to date with his eldest son, Ahnshahn Casjheyme (Tommy) taking out the Champion Gelding at the last 3 Qld. Crabbet State Championships.  Another son, Cooroora Conquistador, is also very successful in the showring, he took out the Grand Champion Arabian Barastock Horse of the Year 2004. Plus many other championships at halter. He even beat his father at the Gympie  Agricultural Show as a weanling.

What a well bred Stallion.  Out of a grand daughter of Dara. What a fantastic pure Colonial mare.  Dara being out of a full sister to Omar and by Darinth.  Wow!

Dara's daughter, your stallions's grannie, was Daraya by Amadi who was out of the pure Colonial Naama, by Malik out of Nefari, by Bahri x Neyussef by the Shahzada* son Prince Nejd x Yussef (Raisuli x Salaam).  Very good Arabian racehorse breedingon the sire's side too!

Alzana:   (Pharaon (iid UK)  x  Daraya)

Photo taken at 20 years of age

Alzana (now deceased) was a tall, elegant mare standing 15.2 hands.  She had a great frame and a lovely, long shapely neck, and a fabulous pedigree.  She was highly intelligent and would have been a wonderful ride but she had a box thorn penetrate her knee as a relatively young mare and was left permanently lame on the off fore.  We were so lucky to have been blessed with two truly beautiful foals from her before she sadly had to be put down at 22 years of age.

Prince Rasheyd (imp UK)  Pure Crabbet   (Silvern Idyll  x  Princess Rubi'a)

Prince Rasheyd  was bred at the Silvern Stud in England by the well known breeder of Crabbet horses and author, Rosemary Archer.  The Silvern stud was established on part of the estate of Crabbet Park.   She is now retired but when Mrs Archer was actively breeding the stock produced at the Silvern stud were primarily performance horses many of which have gone on to great success in the Arabian Racing and Endurance fields in England and Europe.

We were very fortunate that Fay and Bruce Copeland of Smithfield in Cairns visited the stud of Rosemary Archer and were taken with the, then very fluffy little weanling colt, Prince Rasheyd.  They returned home only to contact Mrs Archer months later and arrange to purchase the special colt and have him imported to Australia.

Cooroora Aheyme has inherited the best qualities of his mother with her amazing intelligence and proud demeanor, graceful neck and extraordinary height.  He also has been blessed with the best physical and mental attributes of his sire and grandsire.  Prepotent, desirable qualities are consistently handed down from generation to generation.
